What makes Late Night Tire Service Special

Night time signifies the end of the day for most people. Usually, you sit at the table, eat dinner, watch an episode of your favorite show on streaming, and hit the hay to get ready for the grind the next day. But if you’re a gearhead, you know that some of the best nights are ones when you rip that fresh FedEx delivery out of the box, bolt it onto the four wheeled steed, and head out onto the road. Nightcaps consist of a late night spirited drive or a 1am In-N-Out run, all before you have to clock in at 8am the next day (or same morning).
It's no secret that being a car enthusiast can sometimes be tiring and time consuming. Getting that laundry list of maintenance done can be a tall task, especially when most automotive repair shops operate while most of us are on the clock. Luckily, there is an answer for the late night automotive enthusiast that just might make the burden a little easier to bear.
Mike, Owner and operator, of Goodnight Tire Service offers alignments, tire mounting and balancing, and other services from 2pm to 9pm on weekdays.
Mike has been a road racer/drifter for the past 20 years. His knowledge and past experience as a driver are put to use to provide the best services possible. From tire recommendations to alignment specs, Mike is the man to go to if you're looking to get your car dialed in, whether it be for the road or the track.

Fond memories of shops visits and talks with other wrenchers like himself are one of the inspirations for his shop space. A place to meet with others who enjoy being around cars. Something that is not very common in most automotive spaces. When it came time to open a dedicated shop space Mike wanted to make sure that this principle was at the forefront. Conversations with Mike tell how much passion and dedication he has about cars. “Nowadays with forums, that aren’t well managed and enthusiast sharing information on social media, you get knowledge that just disappears into thin air. One of the things I’m trying to do is spread that knowledge again.”

Mike specializes in tire mounting and balancing with careful attention to detail and respect for enthusiasts' wheel and tire setups. “I understand what it feels like when someone treats your wheels without any care.” Mike put this principle into practice while installing a set of Michelins onto beautiful BBS LMs that were pretty enough to eat off of. During the tire balancing process masking tape was used to ensure that there would be no scuffing of the wheel faces.
This attention to detail carries into the alignment service. Traditional alignment machines consist of a dedicated rack, with high end sensors, and fool proof software for perfect alignments everytime. At Goodnight Tire Service, Mike sets things straight with a Tru-Line laser aligner, toe plates, and his intuition. Rest assured, the laser aligner has systems in play to ensure the most accurate alignment. At one point in the process, the roundness of each wheel was measured to ensure the accuracy of the alignment on each corner of the car. The result is an alignment that meets the customers needs with pinpoint accuracy that even sensors can’t replicate.

Theres plenty to do while you wait too. The shop space has offerings of wheels and tires for sale. A projector hangs from the ceiling, portraying whatever tv, music, or movie Mike is into at the moment. If you think you got skills behind the wheel you can even hop in the shop racing simulator and try to set a time on the shop leaderboard. Place high enough and your position is posted via a fridge magnet. The space even has high quality speakers and a DJ stand for the really late nights. “I just wanna make sure that the space that I create is one where everyone is welcome.”

Goodnight Tire Service isn't just a place for night owls but car lovers of all kinds.
